[X300/X301] three questions to owners

I'm looking at the X300 for quite some time now, it was 1200 euro in my country for about two weeks ago and I'm sorry I didn't take that offer. The problem is/was, two months ago I just bought a T61 and I didn't knew there was going to be such a huge pricedrop.
Anyhow, I still have three questions for x300/x301 owners:
1. When you type on it, does the screen stay steady or does it wobble a little?
2. When using the 6 cells battery, the laptop surface (keyboard) doesn't seem to be level (in front higher than in the back)? If so, isn't that anoying?
3. The fingerpint reader is placed just where I would put my right hand while typing. Isn't that finger print reader anoying to feel constantly?
Thanks a lot!

1. No.
2. No. In fact, with the 3-cell battery, the front is lower than the back. With 6-cell ists quite even. You won' t notice it as long as you dont turn over the notebook.
3. You dont put your hand there while typing, your palms will rest below it.

Thanks. Clearly I misinterpreted some pictures. Enjoy your machine!
Maybe if I can sell my coming T400 which is going to replace my T61 because it has some defects which couldn't be resolved, I will buy the X300 as well. I've been lurking at it for weeks!
Edit:
O wait, I do have another question, should have asked it directly..:
Because of the placement of the battery at the bottom instead at the end of the machine, does the battery fit nice and tight so that it hasn't got any wobble? The only thing I detest about the thinkpad series is there typical battery wobble...
Thanks in advance.

I am only 24 hours into my x301 with the six cell and do not feel any of the items you mentioned is a problem. My 301 sits level and the battery snaps in place and does not move what-so-ever.
My previous W500 and T61p did have a little battery wobble but it did not bother me. I can not believe that the keyboard and screen are as nice as what they are on the 301. It is very small and yet you loose very little except the weight.

These are two of many highlights of this ThinkPad based on my personal experience. And while I'm very pleased, but not surprised that it has a good keyboard, the real shocker for me is just how nice the display is. I'm so used to using a T60p or my T60 both of which have the very gorgeous IPS Flexview displays, that I must say I was concerned when ordering my X301 sight unseen. However now that I have been using it for several days, I'm really enjoying it. The only aspect of this laptop that prevents me from rating it as the finest ThinkPad I've ever owned, is the lack of IPS. If it was graced with that type of display it would be a perfect 10 on the chart. Fortunately for me, while it's fun to have a thin and light computer, I'm no shrinking violet when it comes to lifting, therefore carrying my 6 lb 15" T60p, with it's glorious 1600x1200 IPS is pure joy.
Cheers...
