x200 Access Connections -- WWAN
I am increasingly more frustrated with the "improved" Access Connections, especially for my AT&T WWAN broadband connection. It seems extremely slow to startup and I've been experiencing frequent stoppages that leave a Vista error msg. "ThinkVantage Access Connections Service GUI helper Module stopped working and was closed" but there are no references to figure out why or what action I should take -- Access Connections just shutsdown my WWAN and usually requires a reboot for me to get it to connect again. This is so frustrating I'm thinking of dumping my x200 and going to another notebook altogether.

I've never been a fan of Access Connections. It just complicates something that should be simple. For my X301 which comes with the same Sony Ericsson WWAN card as your X200, I use the Sony WWAN manager:

Just install the manager. Once it finishes, it will prompt you to install drivers which you don't need so just cancel the installer at that point. Works great. Of course, uninstall Access Connections first. All you need from Lenovo is the WWAN driver.
Same advice for X300 and X61 users. I would dump Access Connections and install the generic Sierra 3G Manager:
