x301 w 128GB SSD and Vista 64 & USB dock

#1 Post by johnp126 » Thu Dec 11, 2008 10:53 am

anyone running all of these? the problem i am having is that the power settings keep changing. So we set what we want in the thinkvantage and it seems to work a bit but then after either a reboot or a dock in the USB dock it reverts back. We know and its easy to tell because we removed the "ask" password after resume and for a few times it works then stops.

Also the USB dock works ok but not great. we don't use it for VGA but rather for USB's and audio and network.

The issue with the Network is that access connections does not appear to know about the network in the usb dock so it does not work well ie turning off one with that in play. so we get both wired and wireless on because ac doesn't know the wired connection is on.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

With any luck the new 1.02 Bios may fix this.
