Anyone put more than 4GB of memory in an X301?
I noticed Crucial is now stocking the larger modules...

i am wondering the same question myself. got an x300 here but both are sister models.

Not really. X301 is built on a newer Intel platform / chipset, so if the memory worked in X301, then X300 would not be guaranteed. That's a separate question. Of course you do know you'll need a 64-bit OS version as well...mattbiernat wrote:got an x300 here but both are sister models.

i know i will upgrade to 64 bit after the 4gb memory becomes cheaper and after i become eligable for my sweet EEP discount.
