X300 freezes after waking from sleep

My new X300 seems to freeze when it wakes from sleep. It takes about 10-20 seconds for the trackpad or the pointer to respond. Any ideas on what is causing this?

I have the same behaviour and got used to it - however I would be very interested to get rid of those 10-20 sec.
What OS do you have ? I have this problem on Vista Ultimate 64 bits.

no but that is one of the reasons why i don't hibernate/sleep and why i was looking at vlite to speed up my boot times to go around sleeping/hibernating. also seems like disabling the touchpad and using only trackpoint speeded things up a little bit.

This must be a unique characteristic of Vista, as I'm running XP Pro on both my X300 & 301 and they are fast to return to the ready state.

I am running Vista 32 so maybe the sleep resume delay is Vista related.

vista is notorious for slow resume after sleep/hibernation. I put Windows 7 on my X60T and cut the time by half.

Does any x300 owner not have the wake from sleep freeze/delay in Vista? My mouse and keyboard are unresponsive even though the system looks good to go. I want to make sure I haven't configured something wrong. The delay seems to be longer if I have a lot of applications open, but there isn't a lot of disk activity during the freeze. Maybe the Lenovo bloatware is the problem?

+1 to Windows 7. It solved my sleep/hibernate problems as well.
