Good price for a X200 Tablet - Insight

#1 Post by omaqsood » Wed Jan 21, 2009 8:00 pm

Hi guys,

I've just picked up a X200 tablet for about £890 from Insight at http://uk.insight.com/apps/productprese ... LENNRSEMUK

Taking into account that most X200 tablets are selling for nearly £1300 in the UK, I think this is a great price for a fantastic laptop.

Just posted this to help my fellow members.

Cheers

Sounds good! What display did you opt for?
IBM Lenovo Z61p | 15.4'' WUXGA | Intel Core 2 Duo T7400 2x 2.16GHz | 4 GB Kingston HyperX | Hitachi 7K500 500 GB + WD 1TB (USB) | ATI Mobility FireGL V5200 | ThinkPad Atheros a/b/g | Analog Devices AD1981HD | Win 7 x86 + ArchLinux 2009.08 x64 (number crunching)

I opted for the Multiview Multitouch XGA screen. Not sure if it's LED backlit though. Very snappy performance and great battery life (not the prescribed 10 hours but approximately 8 hours). Extremely expressed by it so far.
