Vista Key Sticker

Got my X301 last week. Vista Home basic pre-installed.
No stickers at the bottom of the laptop.
No stickers inside of the box. No CDs or DVDs.
Where can I find my Vista key - in case I would want to re-install it.
RockXP - the only way?

Pull the battery and see if it's under there. That's where the COA is on my X300.

Even if you find the COA sticker, I believe you won´t be able to use that key to activate in case of reinstall. AFAIK, the key on the COA sticker is not the same as the key used to activate the Lenovo image preloaded on your ThinkPad. To find this key you will need to use a program like Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder.
