X200S Questions: enabling GPS and upgrading to an SSD

I have two questions about the Thinkpad X200S:
1. How do you enable GPS on this notebook? Is WWAN required for GPS access (I would be happy with GPS on a Wifi link only). Do all units come with a built-in GPS chipset that just needs to be accessed via software?
2. If I buy an X200S with a regular SATA hard drive, will I be able to easily upgrade it to a solid state drive some time in the future?
Thanks very much

1. No, GPS only comes with WWAN option since it's the WWAN card that's providing GPS capability. So right now, GPS isn't possible for x200s cuz WWAN is not an option when ordering online with the x200s (while x200 and x200t are fine).
2. Yes, all you need to do is take out one screw on the drive door on the right side of the unit and you can pull out the HDD and swap in an SSD.

1. There is no WWAN option for the x200s; therefore no GPS.
2. I replaced my x200s with a SSD. With the 9 cell battery, my max battery time (with battery stretch) jumps to over 14 hours.

Does your X200s have an LED backlit screen, or CCFL?

LED.
Keep in mind I got to the 14 hours mark by turning on all battery savings, dimmed down the LED to the min, turned off all networking including BT and even turned off the speaker.
