Mute button doesn't work

Mute button doesn't work

After performing clean Vista install my X300 is soooo much snappier/more responsive/faster booting than before, that I am angry at myself not doing this before I started getting BSODs.

However, except the mute button, everything else is working like charm. I can't make Mute button work. Does anyone have a suggestion as to why or what I should do? I've loaded the Audio drivers from Lenovo Support as to enable the mic as well, but Mute button is still not working. Vol up and down are working though.

All help appreciated.

You may have forgotten Lenovo System Interface Driver...
