My school has the X200T available for a good price. The only problem is that it has the Non-LED screen. How does this screen compare to the LED one? Is it a major difference that should push me away from buying the version available here? The model number is 7450-28U.

According to specs, 7450 type with CCFL backlight is not as bright as the LED backlight models. Rated at 190 nits vs 285 nits.
As far as the specific 28u model.
Pros are a 250G hard disk at 5400rpm, 5300 wireless and 2G turbo memory (only good if you run Vista, which the machine comes pre-installed with).
other cons are not bundled with the x200 Ultrabase and burner and slower CPU at 1.60GHz.
Depending on how cheap you can get it, everything has a price.

Also, because of its higher brightness levels and power-efficiency, LED backlit helps for longer battery life.

Oh, and LED screen should not start turning yellowish after a year or so like CCFL.

So I went back to the bookstore to check out the screen. It turns out, though, the one they are selling is different than the demo model that was on display. The one they are selling is 7453-FDU, which seems to have all the high-end specs, but no camera. With the price being sub $1600 is this a good deal or am I better off going straight through Lenovo?
Thanks
