Does X200S have a fan noise problem?

Hello,

I am thinking of buying an X200S and was wondering if, similar to the X300, this machine has a fan noise problem. I am refering to X200S units with a regular hard drive, not SSD.

I currently have a T43P and have had to run TPFancontrol to prevent the fan from going crazy on me. I certainly don't want this to be an issue with the X200S.

I´m now aware of any fan problems with both X300 and X200. There might be some isolated reports, but there is most definitely no such problem of the line. Most folks report that these machines are completely silent. Believe me, the difference to your T43p regarding fan noise and heat production will be huge (in favor of the Xxxx)

There is no issue whatsoever with fan noise on the X200s. The fan runs only a few seconds an hour, and is extremely quiet when it runs. The T43 -- unlike the T42 or the T60 -- was a particularly nasty with respect to heat/fan noise. The X200s is nothing like that ...

No fan noise problem whatsoever on my X200s 7469 5KG. Wonderful machine the X200s, by the way...
