Loss of Sim card reader in X301 for Wwan

Hi All
I just seemed to have lost my SIM card reader
I Have been using Wwan during the day and late in the evening the reader first said, wrong pin code when I tried to connect and after a while it says no sim card please insert, even though the card is in place.
The card is sitting correct and is aligned
The card is active I can take it out put it in a USB dongle and fire it up with the know Pin code and get connected.
Anybody experienced such failure?
As far aas I can see the Sim card reader can not be changed easily, I could fear it is sitting on the mainboard anybody knows better?
