Hi All
I have a new X301 recently it gives a "Fan Error" at boot and then the boot process is stopped until I press Esc.
Once up and running I am not sure if the Fan is running by itself or forced by the hot air flow from the processor. The CPU gets between 46 and 50C. The bottom of the laptop dont feel overly hot.
Any one out there who has experienced same kind of error message? I assume the only cure is to change the Fan?
Regards
Fan Error at boot (X301)

Re: Fan Error at boot (X301)
This happened to my x300. I had to return it to Lenovo. The turnaround was quick and easy. I would not run it without the fan operating properly.
