What are/would be signs of SSD failing?

Just because the data in these new SSDs are not recoverable, what would be the first signs of SSD failure? In the old HHDs, you can hear the noises and tell that the HD is on their way out...

Unfortunately, there really isn't any way to know if your SSD is about to die. Only clues of a malfunction might be your drive size suddenly shrinking (reported with some of the earlier ASUS EEE PC SSD's) or drive errors reported by your OS. But I wouldn't worry about it anytime soon.
