Hello,

Does anyone have experience with X301s running better with XP SP2 or SP3? The XP versions that come from Lenovo are SP2s.

I updated my machine with SP3 and started to experience lockups and freezes in IE but don't know if it is releated to this update.

Unless you are experiencing problems with SP2 or know for a fact that SP3 has features/fixes that you require, I would not perform the upgrade.

Thank you. Its the annoying automatic update feature that started the update before I was able to change the settings.. Looks like I will have to rebuild the computer.
