Specs of 5 in 1 Slot on X200 - Fast Enough For Audio/Video?

#1 Post by epu » Tue Apr 14, 2009 9:56 am

There are BLAZING Fast CF and SD Cards Out Now. I'd like to use this as a Makeshift Second Drive for mainly Audio. Large Card Capacity isn't a necessity. I could easily get by on 4 or 8GB. What are the Read/Write specs on this card slot? Could I realistically run a 8GB session with a program like Pro-Tools LE off it negating the need to carry around a second FireWire drive?

Thanks In Advance For Your Answers.

I haven't seen the specs ... but testing an HD video (about 15 Mb/s data rate) seems to run smoothly from a 150x 2GB OCZ card on my X200s.
