Should use screen protector on X200 tablet?
Should use screen protector on X200 tablet?
Well, I'll be spending a hefty sum on an X200 tablet with MultiView+MultiTouch. I'm wondering if a screen protector is a good idea. I do want to keep it in really shape for as long as possible including prevention of scratches and marring of the screen.
Does the X200 tablet already offer good enough screen protection or would a third party sheet be advisable for moderate use?
Would an external screen protector be detrimental to visual quality or pen/touch functionality?

Re: Should use screen protector on X200 tablet?
I think the screen is strong enough to resist potential scratches.
no need to use protector.
I bought a multitouch x200 tablet too, how do you think about it?
if touching with fingers, is it precise?

Re: Should use screen protector on X200 tablet?
For such a nice screen, I would definitely use screen protector, not so much to avoid potential scratches (although such are never excluded), but rather to avoid potential pressure marks from the keyboard. You see, it´s a laptop, it´s meant to be carried around, hence there are always situations where there can be exerted some pressure on the closed screen from outside.

Yes, I have been using one that made by Photodon. They are the best protector you can buy. Make sure to tell them "No rounded corner" if you order
Re: Should use screen protector on X200 tablet?
I'm using a X200 Multitouch and Multiview and after 2 month I had some scratches on it so I bought a screen protector (3M Vikuiti ARMR200). Since then (4 month now) there isn't even one scratch on the foil.
I think it's pricy but worth if you use your notebook often in tablet mode and not only in the office but in everyday life.
