using the optical bay battery as second power source

#1 Post by GrappaLux » Wed May 06, 2009 10:31 am

hello.
I'm new on this forum but I swear I spent time searching around before posting a new topic ;))

I'm quite happy of my X300 and I'm using it heavily so I purchase a spare 6 cells battery and I've tried to swap the main battery hoping that the second one (the one fitting the optical bay) should keep the laptop running but I had a bad surprise.
It's true that on Power Managar the second battery has the priority on charging/discharging.
Well that not so smart in my point of view.

any idea ho to swap those? thanks
