Tablet buttons - modify

#1 Post by frankel » Wed Jun 03, 2009 1:57 pm

Hi,
How do you modify the tablet buttons? I have an x200t and use it as 'ebook'. Hence I want to assign buttons to 'page down' and 'page up' respectively. Is it possible to add new commands to the options already available in the 'Tablet and pen settings' control panel?
Best,
Frankel

Yes, it is possible.

I don't have my tablet with me right now so I can't go into specifics (all statements in quotes " " represent uncertainties) , but go to Control Panel and then "Tablet PC settings".

I'll update this post later today when I have my computer.

EDIT:

OK, here are the specific steps:

Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound-> Tablet PC Settings

Once in the "Tablet PC Settings" window, click on the "Buttons" tab. You will see a screen with 3 buttons "Button Lock", "Tablet Shortcut Menue" and "Screen Rotation" Select the botton that you would like to change and hit the "change" button. This will open a new menu. You can customize the "Press" and "Press and hold" settings from either the drop-down menu or a customized program that you have loaded.
