Is this a good deal? (X300)

#1 Post by LenovoGringo » Tue Jun 09, 2009 6:03 pm

I've been shopping around for either a X300 or a X301 and saw a X300 for $650. It's slightly used with 2GB RAM and 64GB SSD with XP. It seems to me that the X301 can be had for around $1000 (if you look very hard).... My question is, is the X301 that much better than the X300? I heard that the slow processor of the X300 is its weakest link and the display quality is bad, but does the X301 address these issues?

Thanks

That is a very good deal if it is legit...

edit: and X301 for 1000 USD? Do show the way.

I saw the X300 at a used computer shop. The guy said he'd give me a 15 day return policy too... Cheap X301s can be had at the Lenovo Outlet, but they go really fast (seems like I'm not the only one looking there!). I also recently saw a X301 with 128GB SSD for less than $1400 at the outlet.
