NewEgg is a great place for buying computer components.

How low are you looking for exactly?
On a regular day, you can easily find 4GB DDR2 (for X6x series) or DDR3 (for X200 series) for less than $50 after rebates on newegg and various online store. If you have patience, try checking their websites at least once or twice every week, it is very likely that you can get another $10 or $20 (less likely) off. I once bought a pair of 2x2GB DDR2 for around $20 after rebates for my dad's thinkpad, I don't think DDR3 goes that low though. RAM prices have fallen so low that I really can't come up with any reason not to get at least 4GB these days, even if 32-bit OS can only recognize around 3GB. Getting a single 2GB (if you already have a single 2GB stick in your X200s) is of course a cheaper option, although that typically won't save you much, but mixing RAMs of different brands can some time have compatibility problem.
I haven't checked other website, but here is 2x2GB DDR3 for $49.99 after rebate on newegg
