X200 Tablet On-Screen Display

#1 Post by suzannetf » Sat Jul 18, 2009 11:02 pm

I went into the Display Settings panel today on my new X200 Tablet to change the font/color of the volume and brightness meters that appear on the screen. However, as soon as I started to fiddle with them they have disappeared completely. I have updated to the most recent Hotkeys driver and still no change? Has this happened to anyone else? Thanks.

1) Open regedit and locate the following key:

HKCU\Software\IBM\TPHOTKEY\OnScreenDisplay

2) Look for the Size parameter, if the binary value is 00 00 00 00, then change it to 14 1E 28 14

(double-click on Size and erase/delete all the 00s and type in 141E2814)

3) Restart the computer
