Need Help with Conexant Smart Audio

I'm having problem with X200 with XP SP3. Hope anyone can help me with Conexant Audio Problem.

I've installed Coexant Audio Driver 3.64.6.0 which I've downloaded and installed directly from Lenovo support site (6ea110ww). I believed this driver is the latest.

The installation went smoothly but when I click "Smart Audio Icon" in Control Panel, I get the message "Failed to create Conexant Audio Factory, The SmartAudio will now exit"

I've googled the message and couldn't get solution. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

It is probably a problem with XP since the newest patch versions are probably Vista oriented. Try looking for a XP compatible driver? If that fails, you may want to run System Update and install all of the newest drivers for XP.
