Clean install thinkpad X300

Hi all,
I've got a real noob question
. There are a lot of clean install guides for Thinkpads, but I can not find one clear guide regarding the x300. I know the procedures are all about the same, but nevertheless I think there can be differences in terms of needed drivers since the hardware differs.
So, I was looking for a list of hardware drivers that I have to get from Lenovo before doing a clean Vista install using my Anytime Upgrade DVD in combination with OREV's backup tool. Also I was looking for the right sequence for installing them.
Lenovo has this Thinkvantage System Update tool to get the necessary drivers. Could this be usefull? Only problem I see with this tool is that you have to be connected to the internet, and you're not if you haven't even installed any chipset drivers... so that may not be a quick solution.
Thanks in advance.
