Hi,
I'd purchased an Intel 5300 from eBay. The card listing was showing card as compatible with x300/301. Today the card arrived; I plugged it in my X300 and of course I ended up with the 1802 error.

I've an option to send the card back but I would rather keep it. I understand that you should work with a modified bios with the white-listing feature disabled.

If such hacked bios exist, could someone please post me the bois files.

Thanks to those who send me PMs with the bios download link. Now my X300 have got Intel 5300 installed and it's wokring just fine.

i have an x200s and i was wondering if anyone can send me link to the modified bios so i can install a centrino 6200 into it and also know where i can get the modified bios for the t60

Same story here.. trying to add 5300 radio, with failures on all fronts so far.

Any help/direction/guidance to a solution would be very much appreciated.
