Spinning/clicking sound

I recently purchased a x200 about 2 months ago. Since day one, I have been hearing a random clicking/spinning sound coming from my hard drive. Should I be concerned? Anyone think I should have it looked at. Anyone think removing the hard drive a putting it back in would solve the problem? Will removing it do any damage to my data? Please help.
