x200s beeps when "T R U" keys pressed near simultaneously

Just got an x200s (with XP). I was typing away, enjoying my new laptop when all of a sudden. *BEEP*. My memory jogged back to my T21 which would beep when I hit T and R at the same time. So I tried hitting the T and the R simultaneously. Nothing.
So I continued typing. *BEEP*.
After some trial and error, it's the T R and U keys. If I type "hurt", for example, I get a loud *beep*. It's not the usual beep that you hear in windows, but instead a buzz like beep.
Playing with the volume control barely makes a dent to the loudness of it. Though when the volume is set to 0, the beep disappears.
Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, how do I fix this?
Thanks
