Jammed spacebar

#1 Post by Hazarrd » Wed Oct 21, 2009 12:19 pm

All of a sudden, the spacebar on my keyboard is experiencing a slight case of jamming. Oddly, it seems that only the left half of the space bar is experiencing this issue. The left side feels "stuck," and unless I press down harder than usual when using the left half, it does not function.

Any thoughts on self-remedies for this? If none, my laptop is still under overnight depot warranty so I guess I can send it in.

Thanks.

Can you point me to a source with instructions on removing the key without damaging it?

Alternatively, if you're under warranty, call them, tell them the problem, and most likely they will send you a new keyboard to self-install.
