X200T with Win 7.No luck finding a driver for a PCI thingie!

#1 Post by Zany » Sat Oct 24, 2009 4:42 am

Hi, I managed to install all drivers for everything except a PCI thingie, see attached link:

The Swedish says: PCI-control unit for simple communication.

Anyone has an idéa what it is and what I need to install?

If you saved your SWTools folder or whatever it's called in Swedish, I've not a clue, you can let Windows search it for the driver. Vista drivers should work with Windows 7 or so we've been told. If that doesn't work, Windows Update is another option.

I believe I had a similar problem. I think the driver should be the Intel AMT device driver. At least, that showed up for me as one or two nondescript PCI devices as well.

Windows update, doesn't find anything, Lenovo system update doesn't find anything either.

Nop, tried to install the Intel AMT driver, even pointed the "search for driver" to the AMT folder but no luck. Other ideas?

SOLVED!

There were two drivers for the Intel AMT and now everything works!

Thanks!
