need advice on X series

Looking for a very thin, very light notebook great for travel, but one that will also link up well to an external monitor and double as a primary computer at home. Very simple needs. Web stuff, Excel, Word, sync up Gmail w Blackberry. Stuff like that.

I have a Mac for my iPod and iPhoto, so that's covered.

X series looks very nice, but which one??

If you're looking for thin the X301 seems the best fit. If you want to use it as a main PC with a monitor I would think a docking station might come in handy, but the X301 lacks the docking port. In that case either the X200 or X200s might be worth a look.
