Non Intel WiFi in x200s??

I am going to assume those assclowns at lenovo disabled the ability as they have in the past.
I was looking to upgrade the wireless to an atheros based solution, is it possible without use of a "special" BIOS?

Sure, Atheros cards were shipped with some X200's. Consult the parts page at Lenovo for the X200. It's a b/g solution though ... not 'n'.

Special BIOS....nothing has changed in recent model Thinkpads as far as Lenovo's 'Whitelist' requirement. If it ain't on the list it will not work.
