X200 - display squeeling noise?

Seems I'm not too lucky with my new laptop.
Besides some awkward display error, I've got a noticeable squeeling noise from the display.
I only hear it when theres not too much background noise - but for me that's most of the day.
Seems the noise comes from the lower side of the monitor.

If I - very gently - place a finger on the bottom side of the screen, either on the plastic base or the lcd display, the noise stops.
If I lift my finger, the noise instantly starts again. Good news is... I can kinda play music that way.

Oh.. think its only when running on battery? And if I turn down the display brightness, the noise are most loud.

Is it the inverter?

CCFL backlights make this noise (btw the inverter does it) - the dimmer the louder the backlight is. More high quality CCFL backlights have a more silent noise, still it is there.

I allready signed up the unit for warranty repair - so should I cancel and just accept the squeeling noise?

Depends how loud it is. Louder than on your average monitor at home / work? Then I would send it in.
