change cpu on X301

anyone experience with that? is it possible? where purchase them? which models possible?
I am happy with the laptop, but meanwhile I could need more power. And the 1.4 GHz CPU seems to be a little bit slow. I would prefer something around 3GHz

You cannot change just the CPU on the X301. It is soldered to the motherboard and the entire motherboard has to be changed. Fastest CPU for this model I think is the 1.86GHz Core 2 Duo. No 3GHz Core 2 Duo CPU exists for the X301 (in fact, I am not sure any laptop out there has it).
