Hello all,

I am desperatly in need of an advice from anybody that could help :D Short and long story just below.

Short story
My battery is stuck like if it was constantly in locked position despite the fact that i push it in the "open" direction.

Long story
I am the happy owner of a X300 and i recently faced a small/big problem (depends on the urge to change the battery). I never used the 3G module that allows me to access the internet while on the move but i lately I have been wanting to try it. I discovered on the net that the SIM card was hidden under the battery.
So i went to remove it and it did'nt work.

My thinkpad never ever received any shock and never felt on the ground but the lock does'nt seem to work anymore.
It moves backward and forward. The spring works when the lock is pushed on one side (it come back to the midle position) and finaly the lock remains in the locked position when moved on the other side. Putted simply, everything seems to work perfectly.

But when i pushed it to the left in the "open" position, the battery doesn't come. Just like if it was still locked in....

Lenovo told me that it may not be covered by the warranty since i may be the one that broke it but accepted to take it and "have a look". They told me that i will be informed if the warranty doesn't cover it.

Any idea ? :(
