X200s WXGA+ LCD color calibration

Has anyone done color calibration on this thing, and want to share their settings?

I came from an IPS on a X41T, so in short, it's awful. Biggest gripe right now is the poor contrast ratio and the blue-tinted whites, but a full calibration would be excellent.

I got this profile from a member of the notebookreview forums who claimed to have done a full calibration:

It is a bit too red-ish for my taste, but it is still better than nothing. Anyway, don't expect too much: even calibrated, the screen will remain pretty poor.

That actually helped a lot, thanks!

Windows 7 has profiles for each user, and system. If you see no change in color, you didn't get it right.

Anyways, this profile wouldn't apply to the 1200x800. They're specific to each panel.

Isn't calibrating a TN panel like polishing a... well, a waste of time?

I calibrated my X200s' WXGA LED backlit screen with my Spyder 3 Elite and was definitely worth doing. (Interestingly, calibrating it to sRGB meant reducing the brightness... not a complaint one hears that often about ThinkPad screens!)

Any chance you can post the resulting profile here?

I can, but bear in mind my LED backlit display is WXGA, not WXGA+. ;)

Fair enough. I'm really just curious to see how it fares w/ my panel.

Thanks!

Just need to find somewhere to host it, as it doesn't appear I can upload attachments here...
