Loose Wireless Radio Switch

Is anyone else having trouble with his/her Thinkpad wireless radio switch being overly sensitive? Somehow the hard switch on my X200 has become sort of "loose"; it still clicks when move between the on and off positions, but while it's in the "on" position, it has some slight wiggle room, and whenever it gets wiggled, be it by just touching the switch but not moving it or if it comes in contact with something, it will think I've switched it to the off position and turn off all my radios. Basically if I move my laptop I could lose my wireless connection; this is extremely annoying. Is there a way via software to disable the hardware switch?

I have this exact problem. Unforrtunately there doesn't seem to be any way to get around this in software. If you never use the functionality I'd say bridge or snip the pins on the switch as appropriate. Personally so long as I don't put my hand near the switch it's rarely an issue.

It has never been a problem with my X200. Contact Lenovo service to see what they say.

I have this problem as well. Unfortunately, the warranty just expired. I was told it would cost several hundred to repair. Does anyone know where to purchase the part?
Thanks

Looks like it is more difficult on the X200 than the X201. It looks like you have to remove the systemboard to get to it. It appears to be part of a miscellaneous parts package (44c9556), but I am not 100% sure. I read through the HMM, but it isn't exactly clear. In part it looks like it might be part of the actual systembaord, but another section makes it sound like it might be the misc part package for the base.

I had problems with mine.
What I did to solve it out is that I've took planar out of the laptop it self and soldered switch.
Now I can do whatever with hw switch, but radio is still on.
If for some reason I need radio off, still can use Fn+F5.
hope this helps.
