X200 with Ultrabase - Win Xp shutdown hangs

Hi guys
I'm quite lost on this one.
I have a fully updated windows xp sp3 on a Lenovo x200s connected to a Ultrabase, with all the Lenovo software installed (from system-update util)
but when i start the x200s with a USB keyboard connected to the ultrabase, im unable to shutdown the pc, it just hangs at a bluescreen and i have to press the power button to turn the power off. The funny thing is, if i start up without the usb keyboard connected, but connect it if when windows xp is running, i can shutdown .. no problems - also with the usb keyboard connected directly to the x200s, but still in the Ultrabase there is no problems shutting down.

The System-update also upgraded the BIOS, so this should also be the newest version, and i have made no changes to the BIOS settings.
Are there any Ultrabase driver I'm not aware of?
could this be caused by a faulty installation of one of the Lenovo software updates or am i missing anything in my Xp install, even though it's fully updated from Windows update?
I have tried two different x200s, and two Ultrabays so I'm ruling out hardware fault.
but also I've tried two different install one installed with our Work image (MDT 2010) and one installed with a regular Windows XP SP3 cd, with or without all the lenovo software, still i have the same problem? - what gives, are there any regkey settings or something I'm missing in Xp?

I'm starting to think the lenovo can see I'm using a Dell usb keyboard, and that's why

I'll appreciate any help, i have 7 people waiting for their x200s, and it starting to get a bit dangerous to go to lunch or even to the coffeemaker

Best regards
