I'm not sure if this is a W7 issue or hardware. When the laptop shuts down, sometimes I see the power light still on, the fan is still running, but there is nothing on the screen. It's happen once awhile, but more than enough that I have to becareful to make sure the laptop is fully off before placing it into my bag. The only way I can fully shut it off is to pull the battery out. Since I can't search for "power" I was wondering if this is an known issue. Docked or undocked, it has the same issue.

nm found out it was cause by bitlocker.

Does it enter standby mode properly, multiple times?
My 301 (W7 64bit) will do the same thing after I put it in standby, resume, then try to shutdown/standby/hibernate

Ditto on my X200 W7 64. It will shut off if you hold down the power button for about 5 sec. I wonder what the issue is?
