Any possible defects I should check upon receiving the X301

My new X301 will be here next Tuesday from Microsoft store. With only 14 days of return period, I really want to get any possible defects figured out and taken care of within such short time. This unit will replace my almost 4-yr old T43 so technically I'm not totally ignorant about Thinkpad, but I haven't followed PC market for years so my knowledge might be a bit out-dated.
The computer comes with a SU9400 core, 2G RAM and 120G HDD, 6-cell battery and win 7.
Can you guys help me point out the possible defect-to-be places I should pay extra attention to? I've seen one post about the un-flush plastic bezel above USB port on the hinge (plastic protruded out, and surface was not flat). Anything else?
Thanks a lot.

Mine has been having a consistent problem with entering standby mode, but it is not limited to the x301 just windows 7.
Other than that mine was perfect. Check the keyboard because mine was a little "bouncy" but ONLY when pressing the right arrow key (bottom right corner). I took the keyboard out and put a piece of cardboard under it to fix it.
Few notes on it,
Comes with windows 7 home premium 64-bit
2gb of ram, with one slot free (2gb of ddr3 ram cost me less than $50 from newegg)
I upgraded my warranty with Lenovo with no hassle (3 years depot + adp).
Download Tpfancontrol and make a custom profile because the stock fan profile is way too loud, and fix the power profile. I can get around 4+hrs of use with the screen 3/4 bright wifi on.

How much was the warranty upgrade? And what is the standby problem you're referring to?
Thanks

After putting the computer into standby and resuming, it will not re-enter standby mode. The screen dims, but the laptop stays powered on and must be hard-powered off.
I think the warranty was a ~$200 upgrade. The sales rep was really helpful and even took 20% off the price for some reason unbeknown to me (ongoing promotion or something).
