In X201s customized page, 4YR depot is cheaper than 3YR depot. Anybody knows why?

Don't know the answer to your question, but for the price on this one ; 3YR Onsite + 3YR ADP 3YR Onsite + 3YR ADP [add $279.20] , they had better shine your shoes when they get there ;).

People who work for companies where all computers are bought with such warranties. I did. We have 3 year with on-site on our Dell laptops, I get to be the ThinkPad pilot case (I've been pushing for this forever).

I think the only time the on-site has ever been used is if the help desk idiots are incapable of doing the repair (i.e. anything more difficult than a hard drive, keyboard, or RAM swap).

If I was spending my dollars, I probably would have gotten 3 year depot + ADP, since I have plenty of spare laptops to use at home while they take my laptop for weeks for repair :P
