Retrofit x201t mobo in x200t

I have searched and found that the motherboards of x201 and x200 are very similarly built up, meaning that the physical fit is assured when going from x201t chassis to a x200t. The question is more about if it is monetarily wise to perform this operation - or is it easier to trade the x200t + cash for a x201t?
The idea behind the retrofit starts with the low availability of top-of-the-line hardware in europe, and the high import duty - for the x200t it was 1000$ (1/3 of the price), i'd imagine that the tariff for the x201t is in the same range.

EDIT:

While we're at it does anyone know about replacing the screen with one from BOE-Hydis and retaining the digitizer compatibility. Some of the BOE-Hydis screens have, at least on paper, much better features than those available from lenovo.
