x301 and beamer

Hi

I have problems using an external beamer (Panasonic) with my X301 with Win7 32.
The connection is through the VGA cable.
The images are confused and with mixed colours.
Pressing Fn+F7 I get a windows for choosing between different configurations (LCD+beamer, only LCD, only beamer, etc.).
All my drivers are up to date.
Where can be the problem? I miss Presentation Director in Win 7...
