Does x201s no-touchpad keyboard fit into x200s?

  1. As much as I know there is an option for the new x201s model to buy it without the touchpad keyboard.
  2. Then there should be a replacement part "x201s keyboard without touchpad" I can buy from IBM.
  3. Will this part fit into any x200s model?

Yes, you can see a photo of both models (TrackPoint, UltraNav) here (p. 175): http://www2.partnerinfo.lenovo.com/psref/pdf/tabook.pdf

since the X200s has no touchpad to begin with, why would you want to use the touchpad-less version of the X201s keyboard instead of the standard X200s keyboard?

The X200 and X201 share a HMM. I'd say it's pretty good bet they'd work, but I don't have any first-hand knowledge. The part number for a X201s palm rest with fingerprint reader and no touchpad is 60Y5420, without the fingerprint reader is 60Y5418.
