Hi,
This is a very interesting problem. I am facing this issue with the original lenovo build on the SATA 7200 rpm hdd drive which came when I ordered the x200s. And the same issue I am facing with SSD with a clean install of Windows 7 and (Lenovo Toolbox and some modules).
The problem is when I put the computer in standby and resume it in 10 min - it is instant on. But after being 1 hour plus or longer...the system takes it sweet time to come to the login screen (my windows 7 has a password). I have hibernation settings off.
But why after a long standby the x200s crawls to the login screen. It is slower than when the x200s reboots cold.
On short standby's it is instant quick...but long standby's it crawls to the bootup screen.
Please help/advice.
Thanks

Slow resume/wake from long Standby
Re: Slow resume/wake from long Standby
I used to have this problem with my laptops (regardless of brand), and discovered that it was the Google Talk client software that was chewing up CPU on resume. This is a shot in the dark, but see if closing GTalk before going to sleep helps.
Re: Slow resume/wake from long Standby
How interesting? I do have google talk. I have disabled it from startup and closed the program. I will see how it goes and I will post my results.
Thanks a million,
