x301 HDD light stays on, when PM v3.20 turns off CDROM

Hi,

Anyone see this behavior.
x301 Latest BIOS
After 1min on battery, Power Manager v3.20 turns the power off to the CDROM and
the HDD light stays on constantly. Eject the CDROM and it turns back off.

Based on the power recommendation in the battery, this does not seem to effect battery usage, and process explorer shows that there is no real IO occurring.
My existing HDD is the Samsung SSD 128GB, with SATA set to Compatible mode, as I don't see how to change it to AHCI after Windows 7 32-bit is installed.
