Screen upgrade for x201?

I just got a new x201 and was wondering if there were any options for screen upgrades since the stock one seems to be pretty bad in the color department.

Any screens out there compatible with the x201 that has better color/brightness/etc and/or higher resolution?

I think that your option is pretty limited especially if you are looking for a higher resolution.

It is possible that LCD for X201s may be compatible with X201 if both are using LED displays. The LCD for X201s (when it was shipping) should be similar to the one found in x200s, which is wxga+ with LED. This LCD is slightly higher resolution and perhaps moderately better than the wxga LCD of X201.

Some of the LCDs used in x200t/x201t may be compatible with x201 as they are wxga but may require a new connector. But then you have a possible choice of AFFS, PVA, or IPA displays. This is discussed in http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=84211

The problem is that with the WXGA+ panel you probably loss the webcam...
