X200T buttons too loud

#1 Post by jihe » Mon Jun 28, 2010 11:42 pm

Does any else noticed that the trackpoint buttons on the X200T is very clickety compare to the silent ones on the T series? This really annoys me since I usually work late at night and silence is golden. I wonder if it is possible to use any of the T series keyboard+trackpoint on the X200T?

Call support and get a new keyboard if you think it's bad. Though it's not a tablet, my X200's keys are noise/click free.

it's not the keys. it's the 3 trackpoint buttons, i feel they are constructed differently

The trackpoint buttons are attached to the keyboard. If you replace the keyboard, you'll get new buttons.
