Outlet items-- no extended warranty available?

X200, X201, X220 (including equivalent tablet models) and X300, X301 series specific matters only.

Outlet items-- no extended warranty available?

I just got an email from Lenovo support, saying that there is no support option offered beyond the one-year warranty period. I would like to buy an outlet X200, but not if I can't get support beyond one year. I have read here before that one can get extended support from Lenovo for even used laptops... who's right?

All outlet machines I believe are knocked down to a one year warranty that cannot be upgraded. A used machine that was not originally refurbished and is still under warranty, is still eligible to upgrade the warranty.
