Hi, I am planning to buy x201 with integrated graphics to replace my t43. I want to know if this gpu is better than my t43 1875-e1u?

Thanks in advance!

I believe the T43 had the Intel GMA 900 in which case the X201 would be much better (although still not on the level of a modern entry-level ATI/nVidia notebook GPU). Quite a bit faster as well as running some games that simply would not run on the GMA 900 as it lacked the required hardware features.

Here's a link to info about the integrated Intel HD that comes with the X201:

It's very good for an integrated graphics solution. Best I've ever seen. It's not for gaming, but still, I can play "Half-Life 2" on high detail. That's pretty darn good for integrated. All video I've tried play smoothly, even high def.

The current integrated graphics offered with the X201 are actually more capable than even the fastest dedicated cards offered when your T43 was new... the Dell XPS notebook of that era that I used to have put out a 3DMark06 score of around 915... the Intel HD GPU puts out around twice that. You should have no problems GPU wise, and in fact you should consider it to be quite an upgrade in terms of graphics power.
