Having Wifi card in Half Height Mini pci-e (instead) & Fn+F5

We have 4 expansion slots in X200.
I understand Thinkpad design intention for these slots:
1) 1 Express card.
-- Can be use for any cards
2) 2 full-height(length) internal mini pci-e slots.
-- Wifi.
-- WWan.
3) 1 half-height(length) internal mini pci-e slot.
-- Intel Turbo-Cache
Most of us, does not use Intel Turbo-Cache.
In my X200, there is a half-height Thinkpad Wifi card taking up full-height mini pci-e slot.
With the intention to put in use the half-height slot and free-up full height slot, I move the half-height Wifi card from full-height slot to the half-height slot.
However after the swap, Fn+F5 does not find the Wifi card (before the swap, Fn+F5 was working for wifi in full-height slot).
I was rather puzzled, anyone have any idea, and how to get around this problem?
